Inserting SIM Card in Galaxy S8 Active

User Guide to Insert Galaxy S8 Active SIM Card:
- Insert the removal tool into the hole on the Galaxy S8 Active SIM slot or Memory card tray, and then push until the tray pops out. Samsung Galaxy S8 SIM card slot location on the top of your device and the buttom is slot to charge Galaxy S8 Active battery.
- Turn the tray over and place the SIM card in the bottom of the tray.
- Single SIM models: Place the SIM or USIM card on the tray 1 with the gold-coloured contacts facing downwards.
- Dual SIM models: Place the SIM or USIM card on the tray with the gold-coloured contacts facing downwards.
- Make sure that the card’s gold contacts face outward and that the card is positioned as shown.
- Turn the tray over and place the memory card on the top of the tray with the gold contacts facing down.
- Slide the SIM card/Memory card tray back into the slot.
Note:
- Use only a nano-SIM card.
- You cannot insert a nano-SIM card and a microSD card in tray 2 at the same time.
- Your device is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance.
- To maintain the water-resistant and dust‑resistant features of your device, make sure that the SIM card/Memory card tray openings are maintained free of dust and water, and the tray is securely inserted prior to any exposure to liquids.
Activating Galaxy S8 Active SIM card
Launch the Settings app and tap Connections → SIM card manager. Select a SIM or USIM card and tap the switch to activate it.
Go a head to Settings app, tap Connections → SIM card manager, and then set the feature preferences for your cards in preferred SIM Card.
Customizing Galaxy S8 Active
Launch the Settings app, tap Connections → SIM card manager, and then select a SIM or
USIM card to access the following options:
• Icon: Change the icon of the SIM or USIM card.
• Name: Change the display name of the SIM or USIM card.
• Network mode: Select a network type to use with the SIM or USIM card.

Removing the SIM Card on Galaxy S8 Active
1. Insert the ejection pin into the hole on the tray to loosen the tray.
2. Pull out the tray gently from the tray slot.
3. Remove the SIM or USIM card.
4. Insert the tray back into the tray slot.
